Nature Gives offers Natural Wellness Programmes for both children and teachers in schools. See below for more details on how these help staff and pupils connect to nature.
Natural Wellness Programme for Years 5 & 6
The aim of every school is to produce healthy, well behaved, happy pupils who can have the best chance of a successful life.
In addition, the government want to improve the mental and physical health of pupils and establish good health practices to help them develop.
As primary teachers you have to be masters of many subjects, and this adds yet another for you to cover.
Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to help you to help your pupils?
There is, and it is called the Natural Wellness Programme for Children.
My name is Nadine Carr, and I am a qualified Nature Therapist, with a DBS check, and many years’ experience working with primary school pupils, teaching them important life skills using nature-based techniques that are backed by a wealth of research. In short, I help your pupils become the best versions of themselves!
I have just launched my new programme to help pupils, using nature.
The programme includes 4 visits to your school to work with years 5 & 6. Each visit is timed for the start of a new term and new season.
Everything is seasonally linked to help connect them to nature.
During my visit they will learn:
Aspects of how their mind works - how they can control it rather that it control them.
Breathwork – how they can use their breathing to improve their mental state, fostering better behaviour and thus being easier to teach.
Mindfulness & Meditation – both practices will help with their health and wellbeing and promote better behaviour and greater desire to learn.
Nature will play an important part in what they learn and its importance to them – and thus foster a desire to help nature.
After each visit you will have access to tailored support material to help with ongoing learning and skills development.
There are many opportunities to link what I teach with aspects of the national curriculum. Don't hesitate to ask for specifics, if required.
For schools in and near Ross-on-Wye, the programme costs £400 for the full academic year, although this fee can be paid by the term if preferred.
This price includes the 4 visits and all the support material. If required, more sessions can be booked at the daily rate.
For schools beyond the Ross area, please ask for costings.

Natural Wellness Programme for Staff
Never before have school staff faced so many pressures, coping with a demanding amount to cover on the curriculum.
The problems that have arisen as a result of Covid with pupil’s behaviour and lost skills; the worries and problems of pupils' poor mental health, and the need to help them cope and become resilient - and that's before taking into account the effect on their private lives of the ever-rising cost of living is added in.
Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to help them feel better, cope better and enjoy what should be a fulfilling career?
Reports show that more teachers give up their careers due to stress than money. How can we stop losing trained teachers?
The answer is simple: a wellness scheme using nature and created to suit your staff and school.
As a complement to my programme for year 5 & 6 pupils, I have launched a unique new programme designed specifically for school staff, to equip them with all they need to thrive, rather than just survive.
The best part is it can be tailored to suit your school's and staff needs.
If your school is in or around Ross-on-Wye, then you could start helping your staff now. The programme is available for schools across Herefordshire and Gloucestershire from September 2026.
Numbers are limited, so to avoid disappointment BOOK NOW, ready for the start of the new academic year.
