This is a series of articles involving past clients who, with their names changed, are happy for me to tell their story in the hope it will help other people.

In this case my client, whom I shall call Sue, came to me out of a mixture of curiosity and need. She is a complimentary practitioner dealing with an area of health & wellness that I do not cover.
Her business was going well and she enjoyed the work. However, she found it was beginning to have an effect on her. She would listen to all her clients’ problems and deal with their needs and they left feeling much better.

Gradually she was finding it harder to focus on the mountain of paperwork she had to deal with. Her own sleep was being affected, and she was irritable with her family, flaring at the slightest thing.

I listened to what she spoke of and although she told me lots, I felt there was stuff she wasn’t telling me. So, I suggested we go for a walk-in a nearby woods and sure enough after a while I could see her visibly relax and after some while I suggested we sit on a fallen log and chat.
Now the rest came out, now with all the facts I was able to plan a programme to not only help her feel better and then how she would go forward from there.

Sure enough, she was feeling more relaxed and calm by the time that first session was complete. We met two weeks later, and she reported she had felt good until the beginning of the second week, then she started to slide back to where she had been.

We met weekly for three sessions then extended it to two weeks and finally to monthly. I then helped here with an ongoing programme to help her keep on track and not let the pressure build up.

I have had a few emails since we parted to let me know how well she was doing and how much more effective she was at her work.
Nature has the power to help us heal our mind, body and spirit, also to reduce the likelihood of becoming unwell. It teaches us resilience and how to cope with all the pressures of our modern lives.

If you or someone you know is not being the best version of themselves, struggling with life, wants to change aspects of their lives, in short to be happy.

Join me next month for another case file, perhaps this might sound like you.
