In earlier Blogs we looked at the what’s, and why’s of finding balance in nature is all about. In this episode we will be looking at how to find balance.
It is about reconnecting to nature, the place where our ancestors were born, lived and died. They worked with nature and were nourished by her.
However, sadly most people now are totally disconnected to nature and as such even if they do take a walk in nature, they are often chatting to others or more commonly on their phones chatting or looking at social media or internet.
Being connected to your phone stops you connecting to nature. This is where a good Nature Therapy guide can help you connect to nature. The Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku came about to do that very job.
Often called Forest Bathing in many western countries, is about finding your connection to nature. A good guide will help you learn how to reach out, make the connection and then develop it, in a way that means you can then gain all the benefits for yourself, independent of your guide.
For anything to operate at its best everything must be in balance. The right amount of everything, working as it should. That includes us humans, the pressures of our modern world and our lifestyles have upset that balance.
As a result, we have stress and the many illnesses that result from that. Plus, a plethora of other illnesses which it is now thought are attributed to our lifestyle and lack of connectivity. I am fortunate to have found my connection to nature long ago and have spent the last ten years helping people find their connection and balance in nature.
It is not about how long you spend in nature, but rather the quality of time you spend connecting. I work with individuals and companies to help them restore their balance, regardless of where they are based. Even in the middle of a city, you can connect to nature.
So, if you want to regain your balance in nature or want to give your staff the gift of balance in nature, why not contact me and see how I can help?
