Quilts and knee throws are so practical, especially when one is looking to cut heating costs. However, we have added beauty to each quilt by its unique decoration involving patchwork and stitchery, and if that is not reason enough, each quilt can help you connect to nature with all its benefits.
Our growing range of heirloom quilts and knee throws is bound to mean there is one you will love.
All our quilts are made to order so we can create a quilt to suit you and therefore as unique as you are.
Heirloom quilts were traditionally made with the idea of them being passed on within the family. You may want to keep that tradition alive or you may wish to buy one for yourself to enjoy and another to give as a gift (why make them wait?!).

Heirloom Quilts with a Twist
We have taken the traditional patchwork heirloom quilt and given it a twist with the picture panels of nature in the centre and/or stitchery, and then backed it with a lovely fleece for extra warmth.
These cosy quilts and throws are machine washable and warm, but with a beauty you will enjoy... and if that isn't enough, they also come with a booklet about the picture in the middle. This gives you information about what is in the picture, and a traditional tale based on it, to help you connect to nature while you snuggle up under your quilt or throw.
Pictured above and to the right are two quilts all ready to go. They measure approximately 65in x 45in (165cm x 114cm), and cost £200, plus £20 P&P.

Japanese Heirloom Quilts and Knee Throws
We now offer a fabulous range of Japanese inspired quilts and throws, each one made to order especially for you, and available with either a fleece back or a traditional cotton backing with natural wadding inside for warmth.
The knee throw pictured was made for a Japan-loving lady to go into her Japanese decorated living room.
